Yes, there are no fees at all. Consultations, registration, and all features are free for help seekers. This is our commitment to making professional help accessible to everyone, regardless of economic ability.
Volunteers respond on average within 48 hours. Consultation schedules can usually be arranged within 3-7 days after your request is accepted, depending on volunteer availability and case urgency.
No. ProBono.id is only for non-emergency consultations. For medical emergencies call 119, police emergencies 110, or mental health crises call 119 ext. 8. Our platform is designed for preventive and non-urgent consultations.
Many volunteers offer offline consultations. When selecting a volunteer, look for those with 'In-person' or 'Offline' options, then coordinate the meeting location directly with your volunteer.
Yes, you can submit a new request with another volunteer at any time. We understand that chemistry and comfort are very important in consultations, so don't hesitate to find the volunteer that best suits your needs.
All volunteers appearing on the browse page have undergone administrative document verification (PERADI for lawyers, STR/SIP for doctors, SIPP for psychologists). They will have a 'Verified' badge on their profile.
Yes, for mental health services we provide an anonymous consultation option. You don't need to provide your full name or personal data that can directly identify you.
There is no limit to the number of consultations. However, we encourage you to use the platform wisely and consider that our volunteers also serve many other people in need.
Register for a free account, then browse the volunteer page to find a suitable professional. Click on the volunteer's profile, fill out the consultation request form with a brief description of your issue, then wait for confirmation from the volunteer. Once accepted, you'll receive a consultation schedule.
We strive to respond to all emails within 1-2 business days. For urgent questions, please contact us via WhatsApp or phone.
Yes, we use end-to-end encryption for all communications and your data is stored according to the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP) standards. Volunteers are also bound by professional codes of ethics regarding client confidentiality.

You can register via the 'Register as Volunteer' button. Requirements: (1) Lawyers: PERADI membership card + advocate diploma, (2) Doctors: STR + SIP/SIK, (3) Psychologists: SIPP + HIMPSI membership. The verification process takes 48-72 hours.
Yes, our system automatically records your pro bono hours after each consultation. You can export reports for reporting requirements to PERADI, IDI, or other professional organizations.
